Try out this simple yet tasty tortilla soup, a very authentic Mexican recipe for the entire family. It’s easy, fast and very practical.
- 8 Tortillas from Tortilleria Superior ® cut in stripes
- 6 Cups of chicken soup
- 2 Red tomatoes
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 1 Piece of onion
- 1 Branch of epazote
- 1/2 a Cup of grated cheese
- 1 Avocado
- Pork rind
- Pepper to taste
- Frying oil
Step 1: Fry the tortillas until they are well fried, remove them from the oil and in the same oil fry the peppers. Remove the excess with a strainer.
Step 2: Blend the red tomatoes with the garlic and onion then fry them until seasoned.
Step 3: Add the chicken soup, the espazote and the fried tortillas, boil then serve hot.
On each plate yo can ad some fried pepper, slices of avocado, cream, grated cheese and bits of pork rind.
